Welcome
As you venture into the prepping world, you will find many videos, reels, and blogs about preparedness that may include controversial opinions, religious and political biases, conspiracy theories, and gatekeeping. I want to make it clear—I don’t care what you are, who you are, where you come from, where you are now, or what religion you follow. ALL ARE WELCOME HERE.
I might mention a theory or another website that presents ideas you disagree with or find extreme, but the goal is to offer a different perspective. The website or Prepper Personality may be more knowledgeable or skilled in the area of prepping I discuss at that moment. They can give you ideas, recipes, or experiences that offer insight into how others might handle a situation. So if you encounter a Prepper whose YouTube content or clips say things that rub you the wrong way but they have great storage tips, remember, like all advice, take what resonates and leave the rest. Prepping has one common goal, regardless of background: to be ready for any scenario, to survive it, and ultimately to thrive despite it.
I try to avoid injecting politics or religion into this blog unless it impacts things such as food or medicine, like war or minor conflicts. Incidents like mass or public shootings will be presented as they are—tragedies that we can hopefully prevent through increased situational awareness and self-defense skills. We all have feelings about such hot-button issues. However, my platforms aim to help you understand the dangers these incidents may present to you personally and how to be better prepared, not to get on a soapbox or stray off-topic.
I do plan to write articles that express my personal opinions, which explains why I prep, but for now, others are doing it better than I am and reaching a wider audience, and I don’t wish to add to the noise...for now.
If you’ve read this far, thank you…and WELCOME!
